New Toy!

Olivia likes to play with things that are not baby toys...anything from my shoes, her diapers, Daisy's toys, Bobby's homework...the list goes on. Finally we have been able to entertain her (some of the time, at least) with an actual baby toy: stacking rings. We just got them on Saturday, so I'm not going to push my luck and think they will entertain her for long, but that night she thoroughly enjoyed them, and at least part of the time since!

Peek-a-boo!

Olivia generally wakes up extremely happy! She will talk and sing in her bed until we go in to get her. Here we were playing peek-a-boo (one of her favorite games) before she was even out of bed. What a happy baby!!

New Tooth!

Olivia now has 3 teeth. Her first top tooth popped through last week, and the one beside it looks like it will make an appearance any day. She has been so drooly, and has wanted to chew on everything lately! Fortunately, other than that she has been a fairly mild teether.

So sick...

Unfortunately, around the middle of January Olivia got sick with the sinus infection-like illness that has been traveling around. We took her to the doctor after a weekend of a fever, runny and stuffy nose, watery eyes, lots of tears, and very little sleep. Her throat looked cruddy by this point and we found out that she had a double ear infection. After a round of antibiotics she was back up to her normal level of fun!
*As a side note, she never really was very fussy. I know she must have felt awful, but she was still very good! Also, since then Bobby and I have both been sick, probably with the same thing...

January Update

Messy Eater!

On the move!

Olivia started crawling just over a month ago! This video was taken 1/7/11.

Cheesy!

This has become one of my all-time favorite pictures!

1st Snow Day!

Olivia experienced snow for the first time in January. She was fine until we sat her in the snow and her hands got cold. After that she started crying, and we went in...maybe next time!
