We had a mini photo shoot with Olivia around Thanksgiving. Here's a few of my favorites.

Pumpkin Patch
Once again, I am trying to catch up! In October we went to the pumpkin patch in Springfield for the day, to enjoy the nice weather, visit with families, and pick out some pumpkins, of course! After going last year, we knew we wanted to make this a tradition and really looked forward to going again this year. This was Olivia's first real outing since she had been sick with coxsackie virus, so she was still tired, clingy, and pretty weak after being so sick. However, we still managed to have a good time. She really enjoyed looking at all the animals, walking around the farm, and picking out pumpkins.
Visiting Daddy
Olivia and I went to pick up Bobby after he was done with school one day. We were waiting there for a bit while a friend finished their practical. During our wait, Olivia received lots of adoration by the other students that walked by. She also had time to run around the lobby without an audience, other than Bobby and I, which she really liked!
Peek-a-boo!
Olivia has really gotten into playing peek-a-boo, and enjoys being on both ends of the game. She is SO animated, and really enjoys playing games and having fun!

A Day at the Park!
I love the little park by our house. We love to walk there when the weather is nice, and are usually the only ones there. It's pretty perfect!
Hair
Naturally, Olivia's hair is growing like crazy. It is currently down to the bottom of her nose, and hangs straight down into her eyes, like this (this picture was taken over a month ago, so her hair is even longer now):
In the mornings it usually looks something like this:
I have been playing with her hair, and try to get it up out of her eyes every day.
No, I don't always french braid it, since she won't sit still long enough, but I had to show off my handiwork! :)
The Next Day!
The next day (after the football practice) we went back to the practice field to see if the open field
of grass had the same effect on Olivia's desire to walk. It did! She
just wanted to walk the entire time! The only way we could get her to
hold still for even a few seconds was with bribes of food or water.
After this weekend she was officially using walking as her primary mode
of transportation.
Book Worm
I know I am always posting about Olivia and books, but they are probably her favorite thing to play with. I can't say it enough...the girl LOVES books! Her new thing is to get a book (or two or three), and find a place to sit down and read it. She will sit on the bottom step of our stairs, on the couch, on the floor, in a quite corner, etc. She will even find a thing of wipes and pull it over to wherever she wants to read and then sit down on it while she flips through the pages of a book. It's pretty adorable!
Football Practice
I realize this post is long overdue, but I love the pictures from it and had to share! This was from the weekend Abby came to visit in September. We went to watch Bobby's flag football practice before all the games started the following week, and ended up watching Olivia really take off walking. She was determined to walk in the grass!
