Tiny Talker

If you were at church with us on Sunday you probably already know Olivia has become quite a talker! For everyone else (or those who haven't heard enough) here's a quick video of one of Olivia's favorite vocal abilities.

Bath Fun

Olivia LOVES baths and is very good at splashing (me, the bathroom, herself, etc.). I think the waves in the water help illustrate how much splashing was going on. I also have to add that she instinctively closes her eyes and holds her breath when she really gets going. Such a smart (and CUTE) little swimmer! :)

Olivia's 1st Christmas!

Olivia's first Christmas was perfect! We were able to spend time with both sides of the family, and had an abundance of presents, food, and fun! Olivia had so much fun and loved all of the attention and the great new toys!
I love this picture from Christmas morning!
I think this video helps to illustrate Olivia's excitement! (Sorry it's a little dark, but I still think it's pretty funny.)

Feed Me!

Olivia gets so excited when it's time to eat! As soon as she gets put into her high chair she knows what is coming...and can't wait!

December

I have gotten behind on posting pictures and updates. So here are a few pictures to highlight December.

Our Pyromaniac/Sitter

Olivia has been developing her sitting abilities, and has begun sitting for longer periods of time, especially when she is entertained. One of her new forms of entertainment was unexpected...our fire. It appears we have a little pyromaniac on our hands! We have caught her staring at our fire on multiple occasions. Along with her improved sitting has come an increase in her movement. Just today she was chasing a rubber duck around the family room. It was just out of reach, and each time she got close her fingers would push it further away since she couldn't quite grasp it. She didn't get far inching around on her belly, instead of rolling or scooting on her back, but the prospect is making me nervous...

St. Louis City Museum

While in St. Louis we visited the City Museum. It was pretty amazing. I would love to go back in a few years when Olivia would actually be able to enjoy it. As it was, she loved all the new things and people to look at, and was very entertained riding around in her stroller.
